Vermouth (Absinthe):
The shrub is often referred to as Absinthe. It grows on rocky soils, walls,
and castle ruins, and is only harvested on a few hours during the year.
Medical Science highly values its qualities as an appetite and digestion
stimulant. Vermouth is very low in fructose, which is why it is not mashed
and distilled. Rather, the fresh herbs are steeped in fruit brandy to
let the vermouth flavor dissolve into the alcohol. Vermouth is a typical
Eifel beverage and has been traditionally used as a remedy for all kinds
of ailment of the gastro-intestinal tract. Our vermouth is especially
tasty and pleasant.
